Rocky Mount Housing Authority's Public Housing program is designed to provide safe, decent, and sanitary housing conditions for very low-income families and to manage resources efficiently. The Authority promotes personal, economic, and social upward mobility to provide families the opportunity to make the transition from subsidized to non-subsidized housing.
Rocky Mount Housing Authority manages and maintains 756 Public Housing units in the greater Edgecombe and Nash County communities.
The Rocky Mount Housing Authority will open the Public Housing Waiting List on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 9:00 am.
Public Housing will accept 305 applications only for 2, 3, and 4 bedrooms.
